Gone are those days when men worry about how they wear their summer scarves, those days when they just hide and tuck their scarves on their jackets and just only show them on their button up shirts. But generation has evolved. Men became trendy and confident as they think this is how they can magnet women. Men of today became metro sexual and are now wrapping. Twisting, knotting and looping a scarf which adds up charm and sex appeal to their persona.
Here are few great tying techniques that will allow you to showcase the creativity you have been hiding.
· Beach kerchief – whenever you are heading out to a beach or a boat, be a cowboy and wear a summer scarf around your neck. Here’s how:
1. Fold the scarf diagonally to make a triangle.
2. Get the two other corners and tie it at the back of your neck. Let the scarf dip low in your front.
· Flip it, baby – just like the other accessories; you should look cool and composed. After wearing your shirt, take a light, long scarf and place it around the neck. Let one end hang longer than the other. And that’s it. You are ready to go!
· Lover in Paris – Parisian knotted scarf is worn by folding it in half and holding it in both hands. If your scarf is fringed, just make sure that the fringed ends are together when you hold it. Place the middle of the scarf around the front of your neck. Then bring the loose ends back to the front and pull together from the loop. Pop your collar and go tight or loose with the scarf.
· Headband or hat band – Summer scarves are technically light and it can be worn around the head like bandana or simply a headband. They can also add up jazz to your hat like fedora or straw hat. For a head, a cotton scarf works great; for a hat, a silk or lines is good to go. Folding a scarf is a headband and a hat band is just the same and similar to beach kerchief. Just fold the scarf diagonally to make a triangle. Take the middle point and fold it until you reach the other end. Then wrap it around your head or hat and tie the ends.
